  • ODM without shifting: Helos and Ackerman are top options in this roster, but neither can titan shift.

The September 7 source recheck still supports the Update 4 roster and the 31-family list. Rankings use the shared core order from Pro Game Guides and Beebom, checked against AOTR Wiki family rarity data. Pocket Gamer's September list differs on some placements and its displayed count, so close calls remain editorial rather than official. Rarity notes use source-backed classes, not fabricated per-family reroll rates.

FAQ

Which AOTR family should I reroll for?
Fritz and Helos are the highest normal chase targets. Shiki is also top-tier but achievement-locked. Ackerman, Yeager, and Reiss are excellent Legendary keeps.
How many AOTR families are there?
The current source set lists 31 families, not 12. This page now includes all 31 by tier.
How do family rerolls work?
Sources list rarity-based roll chances rather than per-family rates: Mythical 0.065%, Legendary 0.05%, Epic 0.35%, Rare 19.6%, with pity after 400 spins.
Can every top family titan shift?
No. Helos, Ackerman, and Zoe are examples of families with strong bonuses but no titan shifting path. Choose based on your build, not just tier.
Why did Fritz move from D to S?
The previous local file was wrong. Multiple Update 4 sources rank Fritz as a top Mythical family, so it was rebuilt into S-tier.
